Copyright & DMCA

TrackBeat only processes recordings that users upload themselves, and users promise us they have the right to do so. Nothing on the Service is public: a user’s library is visible only to that user. We still take copyright seriously and respond to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act and equivalent laws.
How to send a notice
If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act for one, and believe a recording stored on the Service infringes your rights, send a notice containing:
- identification of the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
- enough detail for us to find the material — since libraries are private, the account email or any identifier you have is the most useful;
- your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and
- your physical or electronic signature.

What we do with a notice
We review it promptly, remove or disable access to the material identified, and notify the account holder, who may send a counter-notice. We close the accounts of repeat infringers. Knowingly sending a false notice can make you liable for damages.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address with: identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, your contact details, consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district (or, outside the United States, any judicial district in which TrackBeat may be found), and your signature. We may restore the material after 10 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
