Which files can I import?
MP3, M4A, WAV or FLAC files you own, up to 50 MB. On iPhone, pick from your music library (iTunes Store purchases, ripped CDs synced from a computer) or from the Files app. Streaming tracks (Apple Music, Spotify) are protected and can’t be imported — buy a download from the iTunes Store, Amazon or Bandcamp, or rip a CD you own.
My hits read late or early.
Every phone and laptop has a different audio delay. Run the microphone timing calibration in Settings (speakers up, headphones off, keep quiet for 15 seconds). After a take, the results card also offers a nudge if your timing is consistently off.
It scores the wrong drum on my acoustic kit.
Teach it your drums in Settings › Drum sounds: five clean hits on each piece. Re-identify if you move the phone or change heads. Kick and hi-hat together, or a hat under a hard snare, are the hardest cases for a single microphone.
My e-kit pads aren’t all recognised.
Plug in and play a take; any pad the standard map doesn’t know is listed with the results so you can assign it. On iPhone, Bluetooth kits pair in Settings › Your kit › Connect, not in the phone’s Bluetooth settings.
A song failed to process.
Delete it and try again — a failed song never uses your free song or your monthly count. Clean, drum-forward mixes transcribe best; very long or very quiet recordings may not.
I subscribed on my phone — does it work on my laptop?
Yes. The subscription is on your account. Sign in at trackbeat.studio with the same email or Apple/Google login and everything is unlocked. Manage an App Store subscription in your Apple ID settings; a website subscription under Settings › Manage subscription.
